This was one of the worst internships I have ever had. They advertised the position all over the internet as post production intern and made it sound like they had big clients and we get to watch them do all this editing work. Turns out it is a very old company with only about 3 employees. They rely on and exploit their interns... There are more interns than employees. There were 4 of us just sitting around all day waiting for orders to come in. When an order came in the highlight of our day would be making a copy of a dvd and printing the label. THAT WAS ALL WE DID. Why did they need 4 people to do this?? They barely edited anything and barely even got orders in. This was the worst internship experience of my life. All it was good for was my resume. Overall pointless, boring, and no chance of moving up. No networking, no experience, just copying DVDs and sitting around all day. The boss was rude to the interns and talked down to us.
